Roberte Ostler of the parishe of Saint Midlreds Breadstreete
London Chaundler aged aboute 63 or thereabouts sworne and
examined as aforesaid saieth and deposeth as followeth videlicet
That
for this yeare and a halfe laste paste hee this examinate hath bine
acquainted with one Henry Maior of Weymouth whoe for that tyme
hath bine here for the most parte in London and hee this examinate saieth
that the said Maior is indebted unto him this examinate the sume of six
shillings and eight pence for bread and cheese and
drincke which hee had of him this examinate at severall tymes, and the
said debte hee saieth hath bine due to him this examinate for
these twelve monethes paste and is yet unpayd him and as hee this examinate hath bine informed
by his apprentice nowe liveinge in his house, whose demannded the said money
of the said Maior) hee the said Maior told him that hee
could not tell him wen hee should pay him) and this hee saieth
is true by vertue of his oath./
