to Daniel Gosen merchant of Dantzicke And otherwise
doth not beleeve the said Article to be true in any part.
3. To the third Article he answereth and saith that the arlate
Harman Becker hath for these five or six yeares last bin
and at presente is a factor at Riga (where he dwelleth) and
for diverse merchants of Amsterdam Hollanders
and hath sent severall parcells and quantities of goods to
them and for their Accompts from Riga to Amsterdam
And otherwise he doth not believe the said Article to be true
in any parte.
4. 5. To the 4.th and 5th. he answereth that he doth not believe
the same to be true
6. To the 6th Article he answerth and saith that the arlate
Michael Cruyer Master of the great Christopher hath formerly
appeared in this cause for the goods in queation and
given or caused Allegations to be given therein, and produced
witnesses and made proofes thereupon both for himselfe
and the said Harman Becker as also for the interest of
Thielman Bremer, Bartholomew Harmans and this rendent
and saith taht the said Becker, Brewer, Harmans
and this rendent had respectively notice and intelligence
of the said proceedings in this Court made by the said
Michaell Cruyer touching the said ship and ladinge
and approved thereof And otherwise believeth
not the Article to be true in any parte.
