To the first pretended position hee
answereth ad beleeveth that the time
arlate the arlate Beniamin hooker
was owner and proprietor of one
eight parte of the shippe the Joseph
arlate and of her Tackle and furniture
and noe more ut credit And soe
Commonly Accounted And otherwise
for his parte hee doeth not beleeve the
said position to bee true in any parte
thereof./
To the second pretended position hee an=
swereth and beleeveth that the time
arlate and dureing such time as this
Rendent ws Master of the said shippe
this Rendent did make a voyadge with
the said shippe from Alborowe to
Plymouth and soe to Bilboe from
thence to Nants from thence home to
London and att the said shipps comeinge
hither the merchant that freighted her
was failed soe that this Rendent
lost the whole fraight due the said
voyadge and afterwards within the
time arlate the arlate shipp did goe
from Alburrowe to Sunderland and
from thence to dunkirke from thence
to hartlepoole for all which voyadge
this Rendent receaved onely sixe
pounds for cictuall mens wages and
other charges And this
