1. hands of the said Baillelhache from the said de Miranda, which hee
2. knoweth because hee this deponent was present at mr ffernandez
3. his house where the said Baillehach delivered the said lettre with
4. the said bill inclosed unto him, and saith then the said mr ffernandez
5. receiving and opening the said lettre, delivered the same presently
6. with the bill this deponents hand (as hee often doth in like)
7. case) for him this deponent to deliver the same reade over the
8. same unto him, and this deponent accordingly then and there
9. presently read over the said lettre unto him, and acquainted him
10. with the effect of the said bill, and saith the said lettre and XXX
11. as hee beleeveth is written and subscribed by the said Miranda
12. and the said bill subscribed by the said Danielson, and the contents
13. of them to be true and reall, referring himselfe to his foregoing
14. deposition, and otherwise cannot depose, not being in the voyage.
15. To the 16th article hee saith that in about the month of July
16. 1656 last past the said shipp safely arrived with the said fiftie three
17. pipes of wine and six hundred seventie and seven hides
18. for the said mr ffernandez, his account in this port, and with
19. other goods, which hee knoweth because hee this deponent
20. about a day or two after such arrivall went aboard here in
21. the River of Thames, and alsoe made entrie of the said
22. fiftie three pipes of wine, and six hundred seventie and seven
23. hides in the custome house as the goods of the said mr ffernandez
24. and really paid the custome of and for the same, and all this
25. hee saith hee did before any seizure was made of the said
26. lading by mr webb or any other person whatsoever, and
27. otherwise hee deposeth not.

31. hee saith hee beleeveth the bill of lading to be one of the bills

37. of Religion, and maketh conscience of the oath taken in this
38. cause, so that hee should commit a heinous sinne to speake
39. ought untruely therein, and that he is bound to speake the
40. truth without respect of persons, and then there is noe
41. dispensation from his oath, nor doth hee looke upon the English
42. that were not of the Roman faith as heretikes nor may hee
43. depose an untruth against them for advantage of a Hebrew.
44. To the 3 hee saith hee knoweth all the three persons interrate
45. who hee saith are commonly accounted Spaniards and subiect of
