8. within the time arlate the arlate Thomas Dixon was master of the shipp or vessell the

9. Mary arlate and for such commonly accounted, And saith the producent Thom John

10. Betson was shipped in her to serve in her as a mariner for her then intended voyage

11. which was to goe from Newcastle to Dantzike, and thence to retourne either for this port

46. Elsevere and was nearly cleared of customes the said dixon the master with the

47. went ashore and carried this deponent and the said Betson and others of the company

48. with him to receive him and to fetch necessaries, and after their comming ashore

49. the said Batson and this deponent and the other sailors that went ashore with the

50. master went several times betwixt the shoare and shipp to carry such things

51. as the master had prevailed, and in the evening the master being gonne to danzike

52. the said Batson and the rest (saving this deponent) were to the freigth there selves

53. and drinke together, and thereby after they were so gonne the master full

54. of drink went to the waterside, and insisting his men sent this deponent
