To the 10th hee saith, That the arlate Captaine Bodiloe with the<br />
Convoy under his Command in the yeare <u>1652</u> came to Cyprus for the<br />
safe convoying of English shipps and goods from Turkey and the parts in the<br />
streights, but by whose procurement the said Convoy was so employed hee<br />
saith hee knoweth not. And further cannot depose/:

To the first hee saith, That hee this rendent never had any part<br />
share in the shipp ''Thomas Bonadventure'' interrate:/
To the second hee saith hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing deposition taken<br />
in this Cause, wherein hee hath given all the satisfaction hee cann to the<br />
contents of this Interrogatorie; sating the interrate Roger ffowke as English<br />
Consull resident at Cyprus, was and iis a person, (so farr as this deponent<br />
knoweth) who acteth there for severall English Merchants besides<br />
the said ffrederick Chewne and Companie./
To the 3. hee saith hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing deposition:-
To the 4th hee sait, That there were no goods received aboard the said<br />
shipp at Cyprus after the bills of lading were signed for the Cargo<br />
there received, sayeing the said bills of ladeing were dated 5. or 6. daies<br />
as hee remembreth before the time that they were actually firmed
To the 5th hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing deposition taken in this Cause<br />
wherein hee hath declared so much as hee knoweth concerning the<br />

shipp ''Constant'' aged 51 yeares or thereabouts a Wittnes<br />
sworne and examined saith and deposeth as followeth videlicet
That hee this deponent being as aforesaid one of the Quartermasters of<br />
the said shipp in severall Voiages wherein shee was imployed by the said<br />
Captaine Isaac Phillips as a private man of warr against the shipps and<br />
goods belonging to the enemies of this Commonwealth well knoweth<br />
That upon or about the fourth day of Aprill <u>1651.</u> last past the<br />
said shipp the ''Constant'' then being at Sea under the Command of<br />
Captaine William hurley and Companie consisting of this deponent<br />
and the other Officers and mariners expressed in the said schedule, did meet<br />
with surprize and take at Sea within the Jurisdiction of this Court,<br />
