To the 6th and 7th hee saith t … [ADD DATA]
To the 6th and 7th hee saith that he saw the shipp booke of the ''Sampson'' before<br />
the seizure and there saw an entry made of the sylver interrate with<br />
the markes and numbers agreeable to the bills of lading<br />
and saith he is sure that Peter Claesson named in the sayd bills for lader<br />
did carry the sayd moneys in his boat a shipboard, and the sayd booke is<br />
as he beleiveth in the Registry of this Court. And further he cannot<br />
depose.
To the eighth he knoweth nothing thereof, saving he saith the bills of<br />
lading were made for the delivery of the sayd moneyes to the use of<br />
Anne Muytinx and not to the parties interrogated.
To the 9th he saith he is fully convinced in his conscience that noe subiects of<br />
the States of the United Provinces or ffrench King had or hath any<br />
manner of interest what soever in the moneyes now claymed, and that<br />
the shipp ''Sampson'' was bound to Ostend and to noe other part and<br />
otherwise negatively.
To the 10th he knoweth nothing thereof.
To the .11th negatively.
To the 12th he saith that the sayd Hjeronimo Brudgmans had effects in<br />
his hands of his sayd mother Ann Muytinx. videlicet. bone lace whereof<br />
the moneys now claymed are the proceed. and the sayd Hjeronimo told<br />
this deponent two moneths before the lading of the sayd moneys that he had<br />
such effects in his hands to a good value and that he intended to make<br />
a returne thereof to his sayd mother in sylver from Cadiz. and otherwise<br />
he cannot depose.
To the .13.th he saith that the sayd Hjeronimo Brudgman told this deponent<br />
att Cadiz that the sayd moneys were his mothers and that he would lade<br />
them for her Accompt videlicet the Accompt ofthe sayd Ann Muytinx<br />
and diego Maistre who as servant to the sayd Hjeronimo attended the<br />
ladeing thereof told this deponent after lading thereof that the same<br />
was laden for the Accompt of the sayd Ann Muytinx. And further<br />
he cannot depose.
To the 14th he saith he is a native and an Inhabitant of Dunkirke and<br />
hath noe manner f interest whatsoever in the sylver or moneys claymed<br />
nor will the restitution thereof be any advantage to him.

To the 24th he saith he saw Diego Maestre bring two bills of lading for the<br />
sayd sylver both of one tenor and deliver his master, and heard him then say<br />
that a thrid bill of the same tenor was left and abiding with the sayd<br />
