these were two Portugall ships in her company, which didn’t<br />
come with her (as he sayeth) from Brazille, but only met<br />
her accidentally at sea. And further so this arlate he can<br />
depose, saving he sayeth he beleaveth it must have been<br />
generally knowne on board the ''Experience'' amongst the<br />
Company, if there had been any true promise or<br />
agreement made as it Arlate, And saving this deponit<br />
beleaveth there was not any sure Agreement made for<br />
there was no sure thing spoken as heard of on board the<br />
''Experience''
AD 20n X deponit et dicit that the said Captain Kingsman<br />
and company in the Experience did not fight with any one<br />
either of the said Dutch ships in defence of either<br />
of the said Portugall ships as ladings, nor did they X the said Kingsman and Company use any<br />
hostile acts towards either of the said Dutch ships or fire any<br />
guns upon them in their own defence until they [GUTTER]<br />
