the said ship went to Garachico where the foresaid merchant<br />
who there came on board the said ship as aforesaid put some sugar and Logwood onboard the said ship, and<br />
from thence went (by the said merchants order to Lansarote<br />
where the said Merchant laded some Corne on board<br />
the said ship, thence to Cales (by his order) and hee there<br />
delivered some sugers, thence to Allecant (by his order)<br />
and there hee delivered some loggwood and thence<br />
(by his order went to Muniedeo roade and there hee<br />
delivered suger and some logwood, and thence (by the<br />
same order) went to Genoa where the said merchant<br />
caused all the said ships Loading to be delivered and the<br />
last thereof was soe delivered there, on or about the [?eighth GUTTER]<br />
day of August 1659, and the same being delivered the<br />
said merchant reladed the said ship, with marble,<br />
stones, Earthen ware, and severall Bales of Goods<br />
which were to be carried to Santa Cruze in Teneriffe,<br />
and the said ship set saile with the said Lading from<br />
Genoa on or about the 8th of October last, and<br />
in her Course for Santa Cruze about six leagues without the<br />
Streights mouth, on or about the 29th of October aforesaid<br />
shee was met with and seized by three Turkish men<br />
of warr, and by them sent to Argier in Barbary<br />
where the said ship was sold and disposed of, and<br />
the said Brownes and Company dispossessed thereof<br />
The Premisses hee deposeth being Boatswaine f the<br />
said ship as aforesaid all the voyage in question and<br />
goeing from place to place in her and onboard her<br />
at her seizyre, and carried to Argier in one of the<br />
said men of warr, et alr nescit./.
