Warren who went supracargo as aforesayd wh … Warren who went supracargo as aforesayd which William was<br />
alsoe borne at Limpson aforesayd and is a subiect of this Commonwealth<br />
and saith the sayd William liveth now with his brother Thomas Warren, and<br />
for some yeares before in the Canaries to learne the language, and before that at<br />
Limpson with his father and mother And further saving his foregeoing<br />
deposition hee cannot answere./
To the 5th hee saith hee this deponent is Phillip Stafford who signed<br />
the bill Interrogate, and saith neither of the bills by him signed were aboard<br />
the ''Elizabeth'' at her seizure, for that hee this deponent after seizure<br />
of the ''Mary and Joyce'' by the Spanish men of warr did desyre of the<br />
foresayd Bollart the bill[?s] of ladeing which hee had as aforesayd<br />
signed for the sayd 190 pipes of wine and other goods of the sayd<br />
Thomas and William Warren, and the sayd Bollart gave him the same<br />
and hee this [CROSSED OUT SECTION] The sayd Thomas Warren the same but who<br />
gave it to the proctor who exhibited it hee knoweth not And further<br />
hee cannot answere:/
To the 6th hee saith hee hath satisfied the contents of this Interrogatorie in<br />
his foregoeing deposition soe farr as hee can saving hee saith all the<br />
wines laden aboard the ''Mary and Joyce'' were bought before<br />
they were laden./
To the 7th Interrogatorie hee saith the ''Mary and Joyce'' was seized by the<br />
Spanish men of warr in the latitude of forty fower degrees and<br />
thirty minutes and about a hundred three or fower leagues<br />
west and by North and West North West of the North Cape And<br />
further to this Interrogatorie saveing his foregoeing deposition hee cannot<br />
answere for that hee was gone from the Groyne before any wines<br />
were laden out of the ''Mary and Joyce'' in to the ''Elizabeth'' and soe knoweth<br />
not alsoe whether those goods carried to Roes Cellar were put afterwards<br />
aboard the ''Elizabeth'' or not./
To the 8th Interrogatorie hee saith hee cannot answere. knowing nothing<br />
thereof./
To the 9th Interrogatorie hee saith hee last sawe the Pypes of wine Interrogate<br />
on the River of Thames as they were unladeing out of the ''Elizabeth''<br />
after her seizure, this deponent goeing into her hold it being<br />
open and shee delivereing out the sayd pipes into lighters to bee carried<br />
ashoare, and this deponent tooke notice of the markes of many of<br />
those in the hold, and of those in the lighters which hee did of his owne accorde<br />
for that hee this deponent had some pipes of wine aboard the ''Mary and''<br />
''Joyce'' at her seizure for his this deponents owne Accompt<br />
and saith there was noe body shewed him them nor contradicted or<br />
hindered his viewing of them And further hee cannot answere/
To the 10th Interrogatorie hee saith hee knoweth not de La Villette nor<br />
