To the 10th hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing deposition and<br />

lying in the River of Thames neere London, and well knoweth her to be the same.

keepe houses and families in Amsterdam and soe have done<br />

shells for his owne accompt, And otherwise negatively saving<br />
his foregoeing deposition.
To the second hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing deposition<br />
where hee hath satisfied the same. And otherwise hee cannot<br />
depose./.
To the third and fourth hee saith hee hath knowne the said shipp the<br />
''Saint Mary'' for three yeares last, which hee saith was first called the<br />
''Three Storkes'', but the said Coymans buying her of Paul<br />
Collas her former skipper, and designing her for the Canaries<br />
upon the foresaid voyage, they changed her name to the name of ''Saint''<br />
''Mary da Guardalupa'', as being a name more acceptable amongst<br />
the Spaniards. And saith shee is hollands built, and that hee was<br />
not present at their buying her. nor hath seene the bill of sale, nor any money paid for her,<br />
And otherwise hee cannot depose, saving as aforesaid.
To the fifth hee saith hee was not present at the buying of the<br />
lading that was in the said shipp when shee was seized, only<br />
hee himselfe bought his said Tortoise shells, And otherwise hee<br />
cannot depose saving as aforesaid.
