''Conrard'' arived here at London, laden with other mens goods. And<br />
otherwise hee cannot depose.
To the 38 hee saith that the said Alderman ffrederick and others<br />
aforesaid by their frequent writing and orders used all possible<br />
diligence (after the said goods were delivered to the said George<br />
Norleigh at Porto fferrara), to get the same thence for this port<br />
of London, but in regard noe shipps (that would take them in) came thence or from ligorne<br />
they were forced to send and did send a shipp expressely to fetch them, but the<br />
said goods could not be nor were brought hether before the moneth<br />
of July or August last past 1654, And otherwise hee cannot<br />
depose.
To the 40th, hee saith that the most<br />
part of the Praemiums arlate have bin paid by the assured<br />
arlate, and the rest must be paid according to agreement betweene<br />
the Assurors and Assured, the premisses for what hath bin paid<br />
hee deposeth having seene the accompts and receipts for the same,<br />
