To the fifteenth Interrogatory he answeret … To the fifteenth Interrogatory he answereth that the Last time<br />
he saw the Letters interrate was in March and Aprill last<br />
past in the hands of the aforenamed Melchior de Aranguren<br />
who hath them still (as he beleiveth) in his hands, and<br />
that the sayd Letters were all or the most part of them<br />
communicated together with this Rendent unto his precontest<br />
Thomas de Guzman And further he cannot answeare
To the sixteenth Interrogatory he answereth that he referreth<br />
himselfe to the Invoyce predeposed of remayning in the<br />
Registry of this Court, And that he beleiveth not that<br />
there was any thing in the bales interrate but Linnen,<br />
And further he cannot answeare./

Merchant where he hath lived<br />
about two yeares last past, aged<br />
about 45 yeares, a wittnes produced<br />
sworne and examined deposeth as<br />
followeth.
To the first article of the sayd allegation he deposeth<br />
and saith That the articulate Bertram de Baud and<br />
Mathew de La ffitt were in the months of March Aprill<br />
and May last past and before living at Roane in<br />
ffrannce and were there the Agents or factors of the<br />
arlate Melchior de Aranguren, the producent for that<br />
the sayd Melchior did divers times within the sayd<br />
months and before communicate Letters unto him this deponent<br />
which he the sayd Melchior had received from the sayd<br />
De Baud and de La ffitt concerning the affaires and<br />
negotiations in the way of merchandizing of the said<br />
Melchior de Aranguren, and more especially concerning<br />
their having in their hands the seaven hundred weight<br />
of redd wooll by the deponent in his following deposition<br />
spoken of And further to the sayd article he cannot depose.
To the second article of the sayd allegation he deposeth<br />
and saith that about Christmas last apast and<br />
since, he the deponent did see and had communicated unto<br />
him by the sayd Melchior Aranguren divers Letters<br />
which he had received from the arlate Bertram de<br />
Baud and Mathew de La ffitt from Roane, By<br />
which Letters they the sayd de Baud and de La ffitt did<br />
confesse and acknowledge that they had received and had<br />
in their hands or custody to and for the accompt of the<br />
saydnd for the accompt of the<br />
