The sayd '''Nathaniel London''' examined upon the sayd<br />
Libell lib. 8. Quire. B. 4. upon the sayd Interrogatories saith<br />
as followeth videlicet.
To the first he saith he comes to be a witnes att the request of Mrs<br />
Pett whose Apprentice he is. and saith he knowe not of anything<br />
in this busines but by the sayd Peter Petts bookes of accompts. and<br />
further otherwise than negatively he cannot depose
To the 2d he saith he cannot depose.
To the 3d he saith that a Carpenter that takes a shipp to repaire<br />
by contract is to find sheres stayes and other necessaries required<br />
for such repaires att his owne charge, unlesse some particular agree=<br />
ment be to the Contrary. and beleiveth that nothing is charged<br />
by the plaintiffe in that behalfe for such repaires as her late<br />
husband did contract for. And further he cannot depose.
To the 4th he findeth nothing in the sayd Mr Petts bookes but that<br />
590 ''li'' odd money as aforesayd was due to Mr Pett, and that onely<br />
579 ''li''. 17 ''s''. thereof was payd. and therefore beleiveth the same<br />
was patd onely in part. And further he cannot depose.

The sayd '''William Bower''' examined upon the<br />
libell. lib. 8. quire. B4. answereth to the<br />
sayd Interrogatories as followeth.
To the .1. Interrogatorie he saith he comes to be a witnes att the Request<br />
of Mrs Pett; whose yard he keepes and lookes to, as he formerly<br />
did in her husbands life tyme. and knoweth not any thing of<br />
the values of the stuffe and materialls aforesayd. onely saith he did<br />
deliver a great part of it aboard, and acquainted the Clarke<br />
what he so delivered and beleiveth that he hath extracted the<br />
particulars thereof truly out of the sayd booke, and that the schedule<br />
read to him as aforesayd was and is the sayd extract.
To the .2. he saith Mr Pett as he beleiveth was bound to spend asmuch<br />
tarr in the repair of the sayd shipp as was necessary. And further<br />
or otherwise he cannot depose.
To .3. he saith he doth veleive that if a Carpenter take a shipp to<br />
repair att a price certayne he is bound to find sheres stayes<br />
and necessary utensills att his owne charge. and further he<br />
cannot depose.
To the 4th he saith he cannot depose, onely hath heard that there is<br />
some moneyes still due to Mrs Pett from the sayd shipp as he<br />
hath above declare. And further he cannot depose
