Forty-two year old John Hawker deposed on January 22nd 1656 in the High Court of Admiralty.[1] He was examined on an allegation in the cause of "Lane Cooper and company owners of the Providence of Boston of which William Otter was master against the Samuell of London and against Lee the master of her".[2]
