Biographical synthesis

Mathew Clements (b. ca. 1616; d. ?). Blockmaker.

Resident in 1658 in Wapping in the parish of Saint Mary Matsellon Whitechapel.

Evidence from High Court of Admiralty

Forty-two year old Mathew Clements deposed on February 4th 1658 in the High Court of Admiralty. He was examined on an allegation dated December 9th 1657 on behalf of Warner in the case of "Warner against Watson and Howe".[1]
