Sampson shee hath of this deponents observation been constantly and continually
reputed and taken amongst Merchants and Mariners for a shipp belonging
to the said Port of Lubeck, and hath never amongst persons of Creditt
so farr as this deponent hath heard, been observed reputed or taken to bee
a shipp belonging to Amsterdam or to any other port or place person or persons
in obsedience to the States of the United Netherlands. And further to this
article hee saith hee cannot depose./
To the 5th aarticle hee saith, Thay the arlate Otto George in the moneths of
November or december in the yeare 1653. last past being sick and diseased did
of this deponents certaine knowledge imbarque himselfe in the shipp the Neptune of
hamborough, Martin holst Master for hamborough with an intention to goe
to Lubeck, wher as this deponent hath since understood, heenot long after did
arrive, and after such his arrivall dyed there, and was there buried in the quality
of a free Burgher and Citizen of Lubeck, and so much hee saith is publique
and notorious amongst Merchants and Mariners of those parts. And further
