in and to the said Richard Le Bas Mrchant of this City of London, whoe was
and is accompted the true and lawfull Owner and Proprietor of one fourth
part of the said shipp and of her tackle and apparrell and furniture, as this
deponent and the other parties in this cause producent were and are each of them
respectively Owners each of 1/4 th part of the said Vessell apparell and furniture
The premisses hee well knoweth for that hee was present at Caen, and interessed
in the buying and selling of the said 3/5. parts as aforesaid, and for that hee
this deponent payd the summe of nyne hundred and fifty gilders hollands
money to the said Mr Badenhop to and for the use of himselfe and the
other former Owners of the said 3/4 parts of the said shipp, whoe together
eith ther said Le Bass brother to the said Richard Le Bas of London and
the said Mr Robbins the former Master of the Vessell now Claymed did
constantly affirme and declare to this deponent that the said remaining 1/4 th
part of the said Vessell did really and truely belong to the saud]
