The 26th of October 1655. [CENTRE HEADING]

Frederick Ixem of the parish of Saint Bennet ffinck
London Notary publique, aged 28 yeares or thereabouts
sworne before the Right Worshippfull John Godolphin docter
of lawes and Charles george Cock Esquire Judges of the
high Court of the Admiraltie of England
saith and deposeth by vertue of his oath.

That the bill of sale or schedule nowe showne unto him, beginning Be
it knowne, unto all men by theise presents and ending, the second day of the
moneth of October one thousand fiftie and five, was truely
and really sealed and subscribed by Peter But the master f the
shallop or vessell called the Mary of dunkirke (therein mentioned) in the
presence of this deponent and of Edward Perkins his servant on
or about the said second of October instant and that the said
master then acknowledged that hee was fully paid and satisfied
for the said vessell by Robert Sh[?we] therein alsoe mentioned, all
which was soe donne and acknowledged in the writing of him this
deponent in Bartholomew lane London, and saith the said bill
is wholly of this deponents hand writing, and was subscribed by him
as a witnesse and by his said servant as therein nowe appeareth,
And hee beleeveth all the contents thereof to be true for the
reasons aforesaid.
