“In the name of God Amen I Thomas Atkins Citizen and merchant of London being in good forme [??] and memorie praise be to God Almightie therefore yet feible in Bodie and seing the ffrailtie of mans life doo make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in memo and forme following Ffirst I give my Soule to Almightie God my Creator Redeemer and only Saviour with a full assurance of a joyfull resurection And my Bodie to be buried at the discretion of my Executor now after named And for my finall/small [???] Estate that God hath sent/lent me and my ffunerall charges debts and Legacies being paid I give and bequeath as followeth

ffirst I give to the Poor of St Michaell Basinghase [?????] ffiftie shillings

ITEM I give to my xxxx-maid Dorothie Tisdall one hundred pounds to be paid her three months after my decease

ITEM I give to my Cozin Christopher Ffipher [??] ffiftie pounds

ITEM I give to his eldest daughter Mary Ffipher [??] ffiftie pounds

ITEM I give to my Cozin Christophers two other daughters Twelve [??] pounds xxxx shillings/
per yeere which he has by his first Wife

ITEM I give to my Cozin Mary Atkins daughter [Is something missing?] to my Cozin Humphrey Atkins the younger deceased twenty and five pounds

ITEM I give to my Cozin Jastrie [??] Lord twentie shillings to a ring

ITEM I give to the wife of the said Lord Ann Lord twenty shillings for a ring

ITEM I give to Gwen [??] Bonner/Bonnow daughter to the said Jastrie Lord xxxx by her first husband five pounds

ITEM I give Master Lancelott Toulfom [???] five pounds

ITEM I give to Master Samuell Bathugh [???] three pounds

ITEM I give to Master Thomas Coult [??] fforty shillings

ITEM I give to my Cozin Sarah Atkins five/one??shilling

ITEM I give to each of my kindred that shall demand or challenge anie right of my estate xxxx xxxx xxxx except to what I have given them my kindred above xxxxx

ITEM I give to Master Ellis??] Cuncliffe [??] the lxxxx of my house if now xxxxx in and the two Tenements joyning to it And I give to him my house and Land in the parish of Harrowe the Hill (sic) in the Countie of Middlesex And likewise I give to him all my household goods monies debts (sic) bonds and bills whatsoever or annie other goods or things which is mine or belonging to me

ITEM I ordaine and make my said friend Master Ellis Cuncliffe my Executor of this my last Will and my Cozin Christopher Ffighow [??] the Overseer thereof concerning all other Wills and bequests willing that this presente only shall stand and be taken for my last Will and Testament whereunto I have sett my hand and seale dated the Twentieth day of April One Thousand six hundred ffifty ffower

This Will was proven at London the Twentie fourth day of December In the yeare of Our Lord God One Thousand Six hundred ffiftie and seven before the Judges for probate of Wills and granting Administratione lawfully authoriseds by the oath of Ellis Cuncliffe the sole and only Executor named in the above written Will To whom Administration of all and singular the good chattels and debts of the said deceased was granted and committed he being first legally xxxx truly and faithfully to administer the same
