Welcome to the Merchant Research Project wiki pages.
The Merchant Research Project provides a collaborative platform for scholars interested in the social, commercial and material life of merchants in mid-seventeenth century Europe and in the international reach of their lives.
Specifically, these wiki pages have been developed as a resource on the social, commercial and material life and environment of the Kent, London and Surat merchant Sir George Oxenden.
