Least the Originalls of what I have wrote you overland[1] since have Miscarried I doe now Trouble you w:th Antecedent Copies to w:ch I have little to Add more rson y:e Continuance of my Pray:es to God for y:e good Newes of you:e Safe Arrivall w:th y:e Enjoym:t of all content at Surr:tt & my hopes y:t by yo:e good endeavour:es I shall Redeeme what otherwise I Acco:t as lost by y:e Evill Actions of whomsoever he or they be that Forgetting theire Christian Obligations have Concealed & unchristian like Converted M:r ffoster’s Estate to theire own use, (not considering theire owne Mortallity & how Soone they may be called to Acco:t in an other World concerning w:ch I will trouble you w:th noe more Lines, till I have y:e hon:e & happiness of seeing some from you, & in y:e meane time, I beg yo:e excuse of these, & yo:e kind Acceptance of a Caske of Canarie, Such as S:r Tho: Chamberlaine & myselfe doe Sometimes Remember yo:e good health, w:ch I wish may prove as good ay y:e drincking, as it is at y:e filling, being 12: Bottles in a Cask [Case] ?bonded & Marked as in ?Margin & y:e Key y:e like ?laped up in Paper & [G.O. in LH margin] Sealed w:th my Seale as this lre, & by me unto Cap:t Milletts owne hand for you, w:ch I question not is Memorandum enough for him to take care of it, S:r I can easily Reprove my Selfe for too much confidence in Troubling you w:th my owne Concerns yett I cannott tell how to excuse my Requests unto you, on y:e behalfe of one M:r Rob:t Goodwyn (brother to my Mist:es) & my most familiar bosome freind att y:e time of my Apprentiship, whome I understand hath oweing unto him by bond by one M:r Henry Gary now in y:e Comp:as Service under yo:e Governm:t 123:lls ever Since Dec:r 1642 onely in Aprill 1661: he Rec:d by y:e hand of Tho: Povey esq:r p order of M:r Gary on Acco:t thereof fiftie Pounds & being at present (through various Misfortunes) in Some Necessity of y:e Remaining: 73:lls w:th Competent considerations for Above Twenty Yeares forbearance, & understanding y:t M:r Gary is now through Gods blessing very Able to Satisfie y:e Same, he is yo:e humble Petition:r

& I on his behalfe y:t you will be pleased at y:e least to Admonish Said M:r Gary how Inconsistent it is both to a good Conscience & a good Repute w:ch his employ:es, & others y:t know him to deferr y:e discharge of such an Obligation, & I doo Assure you upon my owne knowledge y:t if you find M:r Gary backward, & well pleased by yo:r Christian Advice, mixt w:th yo:r Authoritie to prevaile w:th him to give effectuall order for y:e poore mans satisfaction by y:e returne of this Shipping it wilbe an Act of high Charitie, as well as of Justice, & therein you will Increase y:r Obligations of S:r
