Jonathan Pooke (b. ca. 1628; d. ?). Mariner.

Gunner of the ship the King of Poland.

Resident in 1656 in Ratcliff in Middlesex.

Evidence from High Court of Admiralty

Twenty-eight year old Jonathan Pooke deposed on June 16th 1656 in the High Court of Admiralty.[1] He was examined on an allegation on behalf of Thomas AllenAnthony Peniston and Company dated June 11th 1656 in "A Busines of Examination of wittnesses on the behalfe of Thomas Allen Anthony Peniston and Company owners of the shipp the King of Poland whereof ffrederick Johnson is Master) against John Wright Jasper White Perient Trott Thomas Tomlinson John Butts Richard Chandler and George Watermann".[2]
