Evidence from High Court of Admiralty

Forty year old James Anselm deposed on June 16th 1656 in the High Court of Admiralty. He was examined upon an allegation on behalf of Thomas Cowell and company in the case of "The Clayme of Thomas Cowell and Thomas Canham and companie for the shipp called the Thomas of Brest and her tackle and furniture et cetera."[1]
