9. And saith that in the said Briggs his retourne from Ireland, hee
10. was as this deponent hath heard deprived of his said vessell by some
11. seizure or other accident, but since that time namely for theise three
12. weekes last hee the said Briggs hath bin and is in the possession
13. thereof, this deponent seeing him severall times in such possession
14. as master of her. And otherwise hee cannot depose.

26. Master, and soe hath donne since shee was built, and saith the
27. producent John humphrey and company (all of Bright Hamson

29. seaven yeeres since, and defrayed the charges of such her ......... ˹building˺
30. paying the Carpenter ˹for her and for˺ ..... all ....... charges thereabouts, this
31. ˹and receiving a bill of sale of the Carpenter XX the maXXX is˺ which hee knoweth because hee then lived with the said John
32. Humphrey, and saw such building thereof, and after such her
33. building and finishing the said producent John Humphrey went
34. master of her for himselfe for a yeere or a yeere and halfes speace
35. or thereabouts, and that hee and company put in the said Briggs
36. master of her, who hee saith is now in possession of her
37. to the use of the said ˹producent˺ and soe was at the time of the arrest
38. allegate laid upon her at Bristoll, which hee knoweth being then
39. at Bristoll and seeing him in such possession. And further
40. touching the said proprietie, hee saith that the said John
41. Humphrey and company have from time to time fitted and
42. furnished out the said vessell on voyages as owners thereof,
43. and have as owners received freights earned by her of this
44. deponents knowledge living with the said John Humphrey. And
45. otherwise hee cannot depose.
