the shipp called the [DounXdXrie] then [XXXing XXXX] the rest of the said
Dutch shipps mooved unto the ffuedeuit and having the ffuedeuit
under the [DouXXXXXnd], and that the [Xnteriale] Mr Hobert Skinner
went Supua Dargo of the said shipp the ffuedeuit and of
another English shipp called the Huaurit and John then in Company
of the said shipp Fuedeuit Did then goe from the said shipp the
ffeudeuit to the said Dutch Admirall or Generall of the said Dutch
shipps, and raised with him a Deale [XXXate] which was drawn
up by order of this Deponent and was signed by him
and by all his Deputies and by the said Hobart Skinner, wherein
and wholly it was [XXtiXies] that they had putt all the said
powder and musketts
into the said Boate, and that they had noe more powder or musketts [avXXX]
or ammunition on board the said shipp (saving the said shipps
proper and [mereXXavie] store) then sure at they had putt into the said
Boate, and that the said Mr Skinner was then to acquaint the said
Dutch Admirall, that it was by this Deponent and Deputies [DesXXX]
that he would plead to [XoreXX] the said into his custody untill
such time at the said shipp Fuedeuit should return from [BaXtXX]
and accordingly the said Mr Skinner went on board the said
Dutch Admirall, and at this Deponent's [XeiXily XeXevets] did [pXXXXXX]
the said Dutch Frigate, and desired at abovesaid, but that the said
Dutch Admirall did rifuse to accept of the said offer forbidding
the said to come neere unto his said shipp, whereupon [accXXding]
to this Deponent: order the said musketts and powder moove by said of
this deponent companies thrown into the sea. And further to this
[XuteXXX] he deposeth not.
