yeares or thereabouts sworne and examined

To the first and second articles of the said alleagtion hee saith and deposeth
that hee well knoweth the producent William Belyn and hath soe donne
for theise fifteene yeares last past, and became first acquainted
with him at Saint Malo's where hee was borne and where hee the said Belin
lived till about tenn yeares since and then hee went for Amsterdam to
dwell and hath dwelt there since and hath kept
house and familie there for eight yeares last or thereabouts on the Reuseland where

was borne at Saint Malo's, but hath dwelt foure yeares last at Saint Catherins
neare the Tower of London, and before that in ffrance and somtimes
in holland, being a Mariner and sailing from place to place, and
saith hee hath nowe noe relation to the said Belin though formerly
hee hath served him as a mariner, nor hath this deponent any part
or interest in the shipp or lading in question, And otherwise hee
referreth himselfe to his forgoing deposition.

To the rest of the said Interrogatories hee cannot answer saving as aforesaid
for hee doth not as hee saith knowe the shipp the Jerusalem
Crosse in question, nor ought of her voyage or lading, nor doth hee
knowe her master./
