saveinge his former answer he doth not
beleeve the said position to be true.

To the 8th. he answereth that hee this
rendent was not within the time arlate
master for many yeares befor neare
any of the places arlated, for that it is
alleadged that those that were then att
those places did well knowe what was
alleaged, this rendent (his not
one soe not knoweinge) doh ot conceabe
hee is by law bound to answer any thinge
therein./

and Twelveth Articles of a Libell
given and admitted against him on
the behalfe of Paul Bonnell doe
followe

To the eighth and Twelveth pretensed posi
tions hee answereth and beleeveth that
hee hath formerly delivered to the said
Bonnell an Account of all the sisbursements
and receipts toucheing the shipp the Eliza
beth in question which hee beleeveth to
bee true and for further satisfaction
of this Court and the said Bonnell hee
doth now leave in the Registry of this Court
a true Copy of the said Account And other
wise referring himselfe to his former
