  • Go into edit mode
  • Insert immediately after the sentence or phrase you wish to annotate the following macro:<ref>This is the footnote text</ref>
  • Replace 'This is the footnote text' with the footnote you wish to add, using the format: first name, surname, title, (place of publication, date of publication), page or folio number
  • Save the page

To the 8th position hee anwereth and
beleeveth that the arlate Mr Thomas
Windall lived and traded in dublin
by the space of 10 or 12 monethes
whilest it was in the possession and
Command of those that then bore
Armes against the Parliament And
otherwise for his parte hee doeth not
beleeve the same to bee true in any parte

To the ninth position hee answereth
and beleeveth the same to bee true./

To the 10th position hee answereth and
beleeveth that the said Eleanor Win=
dall came over from dublin in the
