1. To the third hee saith hee sawe the shipp interrogate last on satterday last
2. at wivenell aforesayd And further to this interrogatorie hee cannot depose
3. To the 4th hee cannot answere./
4. To the 5th hee saith hee beleeveth that at the tyme off the seizure of the Edward
5. and john English goods were ofteemed good prize to the spaniards
6. fflandrians And further saving his foregoeing deposition hee cannot
7. depose/
8. To the last hee saith it consteneth him not to answere thereto for that hee hath
9. not deposed touching the matter interrogate, nor ian hee answere anything thereto

20. John white of London Merchant aged fortyone yeares or thereabouts sworne and examined saith and deposeth as followeth videlicet/ written right to left
21. To the XXXXX X fifth article of the sayd allegation hee saith that
22. the arlate Alexander howe during all the moneth of September 1653
23. was Commonly accompted a part Owner of the shipp the Alexander
24. and hee beleeveth him soo to bee for that the sayd Alexander Howe in thin
25. the tye aforesayd did confesse and acknowledge to this deponent that
26. hee was then a part owner of the sayd shipp And further hee cannot depose/
27. To the 6th article of the sayd allegation hee saith and deposeth that hee this
28. deponent is the arlate John White and that after the returne of the shipp
29. Alexander xxx word ink smudged England there happening some differences betweene the
30. arlate John marston and Arnniger warner the same differences were referred
31. to the determination of him this deponent and the arlate Alexander Howe
32. And hee saith that upon the sayd rernce hee this deponent and the sayd
33. Alexander Howe did publicsh and make the award or second schedule in this
34. article mentioned now sheeed unto and perused by him this deponent at the
35. tyme of this his examination and did therein awarde and decree in all
36. things as in the sayd awarde is declared and saith that the sayd waXX
37. awards was and is subscribed by this deponent and the sayd Alexander
38. Howe and that hee very well knoweth that these names or words John
39. white and Alexander Howe XXXX at the forte of the awards arlate subscribed
40. and his And the sayd Alexander Howes owne handwriting, and that the
41. sayd award was sealed published and delievered by this deponent and the sayd
42. Alexander Howe according as in the same awarde is expressed and
43. that all things were soo had and done as in the sayd Award is conteyned
44. and that the rendents of the sayd Award are true And further hee cannot depose
45. To the rest of the articles of the sayd allegation hee is not examined
