Functionality
Search
- For search across the full contents of the wiki, try the wiki search box at the top right hand corner of the open window. You may want to open another window for searches, as a separate window, or as a separate tab, so that you can retain the content of the existing window
- For search within an open wiki page, use your browser's "Find" function
Navigation
- Hyperlinked navigation
- hyperlinks within page text
- hyperlinks within footnotes
- Alphabets
- alphabets are provided for the names of letter writers, for names mentioned within the body of letters, for places where the letter writers were located (if specified in the letter), and for places mentioned within the body of letters
- these alphabets are not hyperlinked. However, if you enter the name or place in the top right hand wiki search box, with the spelling as given in the alphabet, enclosed by speech marks, you will get a list of primary and secondary documents in which that person or place is mentioned, including letter
