To the second article And the schedule therein mentioned
(being the first schedule annexed to the Allegation) hee saith
and deposeth that hee this deponent is well acquainted with
the hand writing of Monsieur de Colbrant Register of the
King of Spaines Admiralty in fflanders and that this deponent
having of late yeeres droven a trade as a merchant betweene
fflanders and this Port, hath seene severall Instruments and
Dispatches subscribed by the said Colbrant, and thereby
knoweth the said first schedule annexed to be subscribed
with the said de Colbrants owne hand, and otherwise
hee cannot depose saving hee well knoweth the ship the
Mayflower having bin severall times aboard her, both
in England and Zeeland:/
To the third article and the second schedule annexed hee
saith that hee this depponent being at fflushing in Zealand
about foure monethes since was there told and informed
by severall Credible persons that the Producent John
Williamson had bought the said ship there iof Quizn
Quizenson Rameschot merchant of fflushing to whome shee
was Consigned to be sold by the Persons that had bought
her of the Admiralty of fflanders where shee had bin
Condemned and hee beleeveth the said second schedule
annexed to be the reall bill of the said sale of the
said ship to the said Williamson, and further hee cannot
depose:/
To the Interrogatories:/
To the first hee saith he was borne neer Canterbury in Kent
and hath lived in London for twelve yeeres last and is a merchant
by Imployment and saith hee hath knowne the Producent
Williamson for three or foure yeeres last but knoweth not
the interrate Cooke and that in point of right he
