15. thereabouts sworne and examined
16. deposeth.
17. To the first article of the said Allegation hee saith and deposeth
18. That hee this deponent well knoweth the arlate Beniamin
19. Bonnell and Richard Clarke And saith that ˹with˺ in and for
20. all the tyme allegate they the said Bonnell Clarke and
21. Company were and still are and ought to bee the true and
22. lawfull Owners and Proprietors of the shippe the Stockholme
23. arlate and of her tackle apparell and furniture and for such
24. were and are comonly accompted reputed and taken. And
25. they the said Bonnell and Clarke were and are Subiects of the
26. Queene of Swedland and Inhabitants and Burgo masters of
27. and in the towne of Stockholme where they have lived ever
28. since this deponent first knewe them and came to serve in
29. theire said shippes which is about two yeares since And
30. further hee cannot depose.
31. To the second Interrogatorie hee saith and deposeth That within the
32. tyme allegate and more precisely in the moneth of June last
33. past the said ship the Stockholme being then at Saint Ives in
34. Portugall there was laden aboard her by the factors of the said
35. Owners of the said ship a Cargazoane of Salt to bee transported
36. in the said ship to Stockholme aforesaid where the same was
37. to have bin delivered for the said Owners accompt And saith that
38. at the said tyme and places there was seaven Chests of Sugar allsoe
39. laden aboard the said ship for the Accompt of some other person living
40. in Stockholme, but his name hee saith hee knoweth not
41. The premisses hee hee (sic) deposeth because hee this deponent being
42. Boatswaine of the said shippe was present when
43. the salt and Sugar was soe laden aboard her by and hath
44. within the tyme first predeposed bin at the same place two
45. severall tymes besides his present voyage purposely
46. to fetch salt for the said owners accompt.
47. To the third article of the said Allegation hee saith and deposeth
48. That in or about the beginning of the moneth of July last
49. past the said ship set saile with her said Ladeing from Saint Ives
