Edward Thorne (b. ca. ?; d. ?). Mariner.
Gunner of the ship the Hannah (Master: Thomas Tyman) on voyage from London to Lisbon and Faro in August and September 1654.
"Hath used Navigation for theise 26. or 27. yeares last past"[1]
Resident in 1655 in the parish of Saint Botolph Billingsgate.
Evidence from High Court of Admiralty
Fifty-two year old Edward Thorne deposed on in the High Court of Admiralty.[2] He was examined on interrogatories in "A busines of assurance touching a losse in the Hannah (whereof Thomas Tyman was Master)".[3]
