Biographical synthesis
Henry Hopkins (b. ca. 1610; d. ?). Shipwright ("naupegus").
On the ship the Peter (Master: Thomas Jones) and presumed to be carpenter of the ship in 1648, on a voyage from Marseilles to Alexandria and Candy on the Barbary Coast..
Resident in 1650 in Limehouse in the parish of Stepney.
Evidence from High Court of Admiralty
Forty year old Henry Hopkins deposed on May 16th 1650 in the High Court of Admiralty. He was examined on behalf of Captaine Thomas Jones and the ship the Anne and Joyce.[1]
