Resident in 1657 in Horsey downe in the county of Surrey.
Evidence from High Court of Admiralty
Forty year old Adrian Franck deposed on October 20th 1657 in the High Court of Admiralty..[1] He was examined in the case of "Cowse against the Golden ffortune and against Jones".[2]
Adrian Franck stated that he was one of the company of the ship the Golden ffortune (Master: Morgan Jones). The ship was bound from Palma to Barbados. Allegedly the master Morgan Jones was so ignorant that they sailed far beyond Barbados, requiring an extra fourteen days to get to the island.[3]
