Biographical synthesis
Thomas Hall (b. ca. 1615; d. ?). Barber chirurgeon and "Copprisse-man".
Thomas Hall gives his occupation once as barber chirurgeon and once as "copprisse-man". Presumably Hall was by training a barber chirurgeon, but had specialised in copperas. [EXPAND THIS]

Evidence from High Court of Admiralty
Forty year old Thomas Hall deposed on January 26th 1655 in the High Court of Admiralty. He was examined on a libel on the behalf of Anthony Tether in the case of "Anthony Tether against the shipp Julian whereof Richard Bryan was Master and against the said Richard Bryan and others".[1]
The same Thomas Hall deposed a year and eleven months later on December 22nd 1656, giving his age still as forty, and describing himself as a "Copprisse-man" resident in the parish of Saint Pancras Soper Lane. His deposition was again in response to an allegation of Anthony Tether in the same case of "Tether against Bryan".[2]
