IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I Richard Turgis Cittizena nd Grocer of London being at the p:rsent sicke and weake but of sound and competent mind and memory (blessed bee God) yet considering the uncertaine Estate of this Transitory life doe make and ordeyne this my last Will and Testament in manner as followeth That is to say
FIRST I commend my Soule into the hands of Almighty God that gave it mee ?trusting through his mercy and and the meritts of Jesus Christ my Redeemer to have pardon of all my Sinnes and bee eternally saved And my Body I committ to the Easrth from whence it came To bee buried in the Ruines of the Church of S:t Mary Woolnoth in Mumbard Streete neere my late Wife as possible may bee, And my Will is that I may bee buried by Torchlight and that no other service shalbe gven to those that attend my Buriall but Rosemary Biscakes and Burnt Wine
And as touching my Temporall Estate goods and Chattells Which the Lord hath been pleased to bestowe upon mee for my ?Porccon In this life I will appoint and dispose of the same as followeth
IMPRIMIS I give and bequeath unto my Sonne Richard my little Cabbinett and my studdie of Bookes my Diamond Ringe
