1. the ˹others of the˺ owners about setting out the said shipp and having an offer made had by
2. the said Bultele of buying the said Bulteles said part. And saith the said
3. Phillips within the said time did disburse and lay out a greate summe
4. of money upon and about fitting out the said shipp upon a voyage for the
5. streights in the said yeare 1654, and that upon the making up of the said
6. Phillips his account of the said disbursements, it appeared unto the
7. owners at a meeting had by and amongst them thereabout, that each two
8. and thirtieth part owners part or share of the owners did upon the said account
9. came and amounted to - 31li -13s - 9d sterling, and after that rate this deponent
10. and other part owners paid, and soe the said Bultele was to pay, and
11. was present at the said making up the said account, And otherwise hee
12. cannot depose.
13. To the third hee saith the said Bultele is still indebted the said summe of
14. 32li 13s 4d for setting out the said shipp as aforesaid for his said part.

21. London Merchant, aged 56 yeeres or thereabouts sworne and exámined.
22. To the first and second árticles 56 yeeres or thereabouts sworne

24. To the first and second árticles of the said allegation hee saith and
25. deposeth that hee well knoweth the arlate Roger Phillips, and the
26. shipp the dover merchant arlate and well knew the arlate Peter
27. Bultele and saith the said Phillips was the time arlate commander
28. of the said shipp and the said Bultele ˹commonly accounted˺ a part owner of her, which hee
29. knoweth because hee this deponent that was and still is a part owner
30. of her and was one that put the said Phillips into the said commande
31. and having severall times seene the said Bultele as an owner at
32. meetings of the owners about the said shipp. And saith that in the
33. yeere 1654 the said shipp being bound put on a voyage for the Streights
34. the said Phillips by order of the owners laid out and disbursed much moneys
35. for her fitting and setting out on the said voyage, and making up his
36. account thereof, it appeared that each two and thirtieth part owner
37. was indebted and ought to pay 31li - 13s - 9d for his share of the said
38. moneys soe laid out, and this deponent paid after that rate for his
39. part in the said shipp, and soe did most of the rest of the owners,
40. and that the said Bultele was present at the meeting of the owners
41. about auditing and allowing the said account, and his part payable
42. was after the rate aforesaid hee being a part owner of the said vessell.

44. having nowe seene the said account, and his hand thereto, And otherwise
45. hee cannot depose saving that mr Rodberd his precontest was and
