1. paid according to the sayd bill to Alderman Hardwick of London merchant
2. for that hee this deponent receaved a receipt for the same of the sayd
3. Alderman Hardwick of his servant John Litchelieew? And hee this
4. deponent knoweth the sayd 4000 dollars was over & above the money & goods
5. by letter of his hand deponente any other fact charter of the sayd Rowse & Harwicke hee knoweth that text written in between lines no insertion points
6. the depose of in his deposition to the second article of the allegation for that
7. the moneys and goods therein mentioned in this deponents depositon to the sayd second article^ were sent by and or of the sayd Rwose and
8. ffowkes from Venice & Ligorne & Zant & Zant so the sayd William ffowke and were
9. resting in their hands at Zant or the Morcea before the 4000 dollars aforesayd
10. shipped at Genoa were sent to him the sayd William ffowke, And further to
11. these articles hee cannot depose./
12. To the 25th article of the sayd allegation hee saith that by reason of his employment
13. in the merchandizing affayres of the says Rowse & ffowke hee this deponent hath
14. receaved letter a letter & Accompt from one Mario Marith Mocricini a servant
15. of the sayd Consull William ffowke that he the consul had in his life tyme paid
16. for accompte of the sayd Rowse and ffowke to William fudge master of the Cesar for seven
17. dayes demorage and hundred eighty five dollars, and that the sayd consul
18. his agents had paid the Anchorage & their duties in Turkey for the sayd currants
19. for accompt of the sayd Rwose & ffrancis ffowke And hee alsoe saith that hee
20. heard the sayd ffudge confesse since coming home to England ) that hee had
21. recieved eight hundred fiftie eight dollars more for ( not of the same England
22. dollars XXXXX XXXXXX (for accompt of the sayd Rowse and ffrancis ffowkes) for
23. thirty three dayes demorage more according to chaterparty the sayd shipp
24. Cesar being delayed for longe aboard her time appointed (as hee sayd) by
25. charterpart about the recieving the currans in cont laden aboard the sayd
26. shipp, And hee this deponent saith that hee well knoweth that hee this
27. himselfe did at this port of London pay all the duties of this port and for
28. all the currans brought home in the Cesar the voyage in question And
29. alsoe hee this deponent saith that hee did pay to the sayd ffudge ^ for accompt of the sayd Rowse and ffrancis ffowke in ready
30. money & by bills which hee this deponent gave he in which order to recieve
31. them of the persons therein named & by other order with bills (all which
32. the says ffudge hath since acknowledged kn here in to this deponent that hee
33. hath receaved) to the value of sixe or seven hundred pounds sterling in pact of
34. freight of the sayd shipp cesar for the voyage in question And further to
35. this article hee cannot depose./
36. To the 29th and 30th article of the sayd allegation hee saith that by reason of
37. his imployment aforesayd hee this deponent received in a letter from Thomas Oliver aforesayd Viceconsull of the Morcea a noate of the quantifites and cost of
38. all the currance laden aboard the cesar the voyage in question which were
39. ( a fine coppy thereoff hee now leaveth for the better information of this court)
40. brought from the Gulphe by which noete it appeareth that the net value of
41. the says currans brought the Gulphe did amount to three thousand
42. four hundred and five dollars & a halfe dollar & noe more, And hee alsoe
43. saith hee knoweth not nor beleeveth that the arlate Clement harbie was
44. at any time during the voyage in question in ffactor or supercargo for the
45. arlate Thomas Rowse & ffrancis ffowke noe there did hee says to the sayd Rowse wither did hee sayd to the says
46. Rowse & ffrancis ffowke any ffactorie or invoice touching the sayd currance
47. that this deponent knweth of And further to these articles he cannot depose.
48. To the rest of the articles of the sayd allegation her
49. is not examined by direction of the producers./
