But saith they remained either in Port at an Anchor, or sayling about the
Ports mouth of Porto Longone and the Island of Elba or Lilbo very [?neare GUTTER]
to Porto Longone so long as the English ships continued there in Port
And otherwise cannot depose/

To the 5th hee saith hee hath knowne the interrate Roger ffowke at Cyprus since
the letter end of the yeare 1651. English style, And saith hee is there accompted a ffactor or
Agent for other English Merchants besides the interrate Alderman ffrederick
Chewne and Companie. And further cannot depose./

To the 7th hee saith hee never saw the interrate William ffowke at
Ciprus, And saith hee never heard nor was present at any such discourse

To the Interrogatories exhibited 15 december 1654:- [CENTRE HEADING]

To the first Interrogatorie and schedule therein mntioned and now shewne
unto and perused by this examinate, hee saith and deposeth, That
the same was and is a letter written with the proper handwriteing of this
rendent by the appointment of the said George hughes, and that this
examinate by appointment as aforesaid sent the said letter from Porto
