Longleat House: The Coventry Papers: - (no title) CO/VOL. CXV 1597-1602: Contents: Legal note-book, with the name of Thomas Coventry [? Lord Keeper Coventry] on the fly-leaf, the contents mostly consisting of reports of law-lectures and arguments, 1597-1602, when the future Lord Keeper was a law-student. Ff.104. Sm. quarto, in vellum binding.

Longleat House: The Coventry Papers: - (no title) CO/VOL. CXIV c.1600-c.1610: Contents: Collections relating to the office of Lord Chancellor and the Court of Chancery, made circ. 1600 and including (f.30) W. Lambarde's "Discourse of the high Courts of Justice", 1577 (ff.1-62, 109); followed by collections on Services at Coronations, etc., (f.63), and treatises and collections on the King's right as to Impositions, circ. 1610 (f.121). Ff.169.

CXI 1603-1659: Contents: Law-cases, etc., 1603-1659, followed by legal notes and readings, extracts from public-records relating to the office of High Constable, etc. Included are: A protest of judges against the King's interference in the case of Walker v. Lambe, circ. 1630. f.32;- Case as to ship-money submitted to the judges, 1637. f.39;- Argument of Justice Croke in Hampden's case, 1638. f.55;- Treatise on Amerciaments. f.126b. Ff.287.
