did then lodge and dyet in the presence and sight of this deponent
And further hee cannot depose.
To the fourth article of the said Allegation hee saith and deposeth That after the
said producents Cogia Jacomo and Cogia Kamar had soe laden the said goods
schedulated mentioned in the said two shcedules abord the said shipp the Saint Martyn
the said ship did depart therewith from Smyrna directly for Leghorne And the
said producents themselves did then allsoe goe along with theire said goods in the
said shi[ to looke unto them and with them tooke the said bills of loading allso
And saith that the said ship as shee was in her said Course from Smyrna
for Leghorne off the Ile of Corsica about 146 dayes since was mett withall
surprized and taken by a Squadron of Ships which were in the ymediate service
of the Parliament of England under the Comand of Captaine Hall and others att which
tyme the said producents had the said bills of loading and goods therein mentioned in theire owne custodie
