To the 4th hee saith the said Vessell the Abigail was at the time when
shee came from Newcastle, and imediately before the said Vessell the
Agreement came on board of her as aforesaid a very strong, and staunch
Vessell, and was exceedingly well fitted with all materialls and necessaryes
as Cables, Anchors, Sailes, masts, ropes and rigging of all sorts, fit and
necessary for such a ship and that two of her Cables were new
and soe likewise many of her sailes and other of her rigging there
newe. And saith the said other ship was of the burthen of abut 320
Tonnes and had foure great Gunns and other artillery on board her at
the time of her sinking. And that the said ship together with her
said Gunns Cables Anchors and necessaryes aforesaid were well
worth the summe of One Thousand pounds of Lawfull money of England
Imediately before the said damage done by the said ship Agreement And
the said Cole at the same time were worth the summe of three hundred
pounds of like money in this deponents Judgement and further deposeth not.
