Transcription

the said shipp to the said [?][?] and [] am [] of
moneys owing to them, but doth not know the one [?styale] of any possession
delivered to them of the said [], and further hee cannot depose.

To the third hee saidht that the last time and place that this deponent
saw the said Sandiford, was on monday last was three weekes in that
Eaten Staethe wherebye this Sandiford was on horseback come out of
the Maidenhead [?] going to Manchester, [?whither] [] said []; was to
goe for [Ireland]; and [] the saime his departure [] this deponent
hath received a bid from him dated at Liverpool the twelvth instant
(which came to this defendants hands about three dayes after) and before
that this defendent received other from him the said Sandiford
[?doth] were wrote and dated from Coventry as werever going downe
the wednesday week after [] his departure, with [][] now he
in his custody as hee saith.

To the 4th hee saith there [?are] [] foure and twenty [?higsheads] and []
of [?copies] aboard the said shipp, wich hee saith are laded where the said
Mr Sandeford [] [] and by his order, and came from Debtford
from [?Master] Nicholas [?], and saith the said Sandiford ordered the
setting forth of the said shipp, and left instrucctions with the deponent in
writing about the setting out, and ordered this deponent to receive moneys
for her victualling and otheres [?not] [] and Mr John [] arlate
and saith there are eight or nine [?suche] with this deponent were belonging
to and being the company of the said shipp, of which company her birth
there and [barrell] now aboard here, and further [] all such being
that this deponent now manageth and ordereth the [?bosines] of the said
shipps setting forth and [?travelling] on the voyage, according to the said
order left him by Mr Sandiford.

To the 5th [][] here cometh by the ordere of Mr [?] his this
[?exhaminates] [] to be a witness in this [?besines], and saith that
when the said shipp was arrested, the [] not [] did []
