Evidence from High Court of Admiralty

Richard Batson, a fifty year old merchant ot the parish of Saint James Garlickhythe, deposed on June 12th 1657. He was gave evidence as part of a "Busines of exámination of witnesses on the behalfe of Roger Phillips against one two and thirtieth part of the Dover Marchant and against Peter Bultele".[1]
