To the Interrogatories/
To the first hee saith hee cometh to testify the truth
in this busnies at request of Captain Miller and family
hee was Carpenter of the said ship the voyage [into GUTTER]
and hath receaved all his wages for that voyage famXXX
Five pounds with was dedmited
toward sali [?ffaccoud] of a shallop of Sugar cast
away at the Barbadoes by some of the said ships company
To the second hee saith hee was not on board the said
ship when the said damage was done and the same
was done (as hee hath heard) about five or six a clock in
the morning and the John and Katherine rode about the
middle of the River and there was then Laden and XX GUTTER
bound, and further cannot Answer./
To the 3rd hee saith that hee is now Carpenter of the said
Ship and otherwise the Negatively.
