was resident in Lisbone in the yeeres 1649. 1650. 1651 and 1652, in
and during which space hee was imployed and intrusted by diverse
English merchants as their factor, and had greate imployment from
them in the way of factorage, and many and greate quantities of
goods wares and merchandizes and of greate values were sent unto him
by them and intrusted in his hands, and had likewise goods to a
considerable valew for his owne accompt./
