or throwne over board or any other wayes made away or conceales.
To the third Interrogatorie hee saith and deposeth that at the time of
the said seizure this deponents company of his said shipp consisted of
thirtie persons, besides himselfe, whereof foure were boyes and the
rest men, and that they were all aboard at the time of the said seizure
together with three passengers, and saith that five of the said men
of his company came first aboard and were hired
at haver da Grace, to of which five men are ffrench, and saving
those two (whom hee taketh to be subiects of the ffrench kinge) there
are noe ffrench of his companie, either men or boyes.
To the fourth Interrogatorie hee saith that saving the said chest of
pictures and three small bales of pepper and some other goods belonging
to him and shipps companie, (the particulars whereof hee remembreth not)
brought as aforesaid from Middleborough, all the goods and lading of merchandize
that were seized in the said shipp, were received aboard her at haver
da Grace, and came from Roane in hoyes
saving two or three peeces that were laden at and from haver

To the fifth hee saith hee hath not as yet received any part of his freight
payable for the goods that were laden in the said shipp, or for any part
of them; but was to receive his freight at Cadiz of the persons to
whom the goods should be delivered, and that produced the bills of
lading for the same, And saith there was not any Charter partie
of affreightmen, made for the said voyage, but the freight was sett
downe in the severall bills of lading.
To teh sixth hee saith that till about a yeare since the said shipp had some
owners tha lived at Tervier in Zealand and the rest at Middleborowe
and that not well agreeing about the imployment of the said shipp, they of
Tervier sold their parts to Middleburgers about a yeare since, at which
buying and selling being soe donne at Middleborough before a Notarie
as the manner there is, and that hee did not see any money paid downe
the payment being made upon accompt of freight which
the Booke keeper for the shipp (who lived at Tervier) was to
make to the said persons of Tervier who sold their parts, the said
shipp shortly before comming home from a voyage from the West Indies
And saith the persons of Tervier that soe sold their parts were [?Clements GUTTER]
hubrechtson and John Kein, and that
david de Vischer of Middleborowe bought the said parts
of them of Tervier and then tooke in other part owners of Middleborowe
to him.
