before doctor Clerke and doctor Godolphin
Judges et cetera in the presence of Sam:
howe Notary publique Appeared the said
Thomas Williams of Wapping in the
County of Middlesex Sailemaker who submittinge
himselfe et cetera obliged himselfe et cetera in the summe of
100 li of lawfull money of England to the said John Mills
and company to answeare the action in this behalfe commenced
against him and to pay what he shalbe condemned in with
expences of suite in case he shalbe overthrowne And unles
et cetera Which caution the Judges receaved./.

Which day before all the Judges et cetera in the dyninge
chamber et cetera in the presence of Sam: howe notary publ;ique
Appeared the said ffrancklin at whose petition the
Jusges assigned this cause to Sentence upon Tuesday next
in the afternoone in the presence of Smith dissentinge et cetera./.

pollittcus written by the said Nedham
being publiquely read in Court by direction
of the said Court wherein there are certaine
expressions tending to the scandall and dishonour

decree the said Nedham to be monished to appeare in
this palce upon Satterday next in the morninge betweene
9 and 12 to answeare unto such things as shalbe objected
against him touchinge his publishinge of so false newes to the
scandall of the said Court and to the breeding a difference
betweene his highnes the Lord Protector and his said Court
of Admiralty./.
